[natural weapons]: Equipped with a set of jagged claws and small, sharp teeth, Carol can make any situation pretty painful if she gets ahold of you with either one of these. Her wings and tail can also be used to push you back, buying her more time to deal with a situation. With a skeletal structure similar to that of a bird, she can fly great distances and move quickly, at the consequence that she gets blown back quite easily.

[personality]: Anxious to a fault, Carol can often be found chewing on her nails or gnawing on the back end of some object to keep herself calm. She is simple and gentle in nature, willing to trust anybody who shows her kindness or affection as she sees these types of people as a form of support. A strong believer in second chances and change if given enough time, the meaning of death is somewhat lost to her. As a result, Carol has trouble grasping the idea of loss and what comes after life. The thought of no longer existing and entering the unknown - it frightens her.
[weakness]: Carol's hesitation to do certain things (fueled by her own superstitions) can cause her to make rash and potentially harmful decisions. This includes a "self-destructive" behavior she has that involves throwing herself in front of others in order to protect the things she cares about. She is fated, after all, to destroy herself when the time comes. Her own magic also has the tendency to backfire as well, something extremely harmful to her physically weak self. This causes her to spend more time avoiding conflict than directly engaging in it. Finally, despite the alchemic properties her species possesses, Carol expresses an extreme distaste for gold. The metal, as valued as it is, disorients and weakens her for unknown reasons. The closer it is, the stronger the effects become.
[major skills]: When her wings are out, she can fly to great heights and defend herself from light blows if needed. While she is susceptible to physical harm, things like age and disease will not have a lasting effect on her, as it is nullified by the nature of her species. In terms of magic, she can stop and "change" time - or rather, create a temporary illusion of the latter, depending on the circumstance. If the alteration creates a paradox, for example, the spell will backfire.
[minor skills]: To compensate for her penchant for getting hurt easily, Carol has some regenerative abilities regarding minor injuries. Due to her weight, she moves quickly as well.
[history]: Carol doesn't really remember much, to be honest - waking up randomly one day on someone's doorstep without any idea how you got there or who you were didn't really help with that whole sense of confusion. Being tiny in a big place like this didn't help much with her situation either. Everything, after all, looked like it wanted to either eat her or crush her. Not pleasant. Not pleasant indeed. Frightened as hell, the little creature fled from household to household, only to be turned away by a flurry of startled shrieks and the occasional projectile thrown in her direction. Tired of being driven out so many times and unable to find a place she could call "HOME", she finally found her way to the Academy. Taking up a human form after almost a century of running... perhaps now she can become acceptable to society.
